When Experience & Technology Count…SEE Dr. James Lusk!

There are several distinguishing factors that separate Dr. Lusk and Lusk Eye Specialists from other eye care practices in the region. Together, they make up the Lusk Eye Specialists Advantage:

He was instrumental in bringing the United States’ second VISX excimer laser to the Ark-La-Tex in 1996 and performed the first VISX PRK and the first VISX LASIK procedures in the area, making him the most experienced VISX surgeon in the region.

For those patients who are too nearsighted for LASIK, Dr. Lusk is also one of a select group of surgeons
nationally certified to implant the Verisyse™ phakic intraocular lens implant. In June of 2005, Dr. Lusk implanted the first Verisyse lens in the Ark-La-Tex.

In addition to offering his patients the most advanced methods of laser vision correction available today, Dr. Lusk is also certified to implant several different multifocal or accommodating intraocular lenses. These lenses offer patients a much broader range of vision after their cataract surgery. Dr. Lusk has offices in both Shreveport and Minden.
